That’s why we focus on thorough exams, checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.
Dr. Shireen Dejbakhsh grew up in Southern California and attended Cal Poly University in Pomona where she received her Bachelor Degree in Microbiology as well as her Master Degree in the Biological Sciences field. She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the prestigious University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 2002. After graduation, she was invited back to USC to teach and stayed on as a Clinical Instructor for the next three years while still practicing as an associate in various dental offices. Five years later, she opened her own practice in Santa Ana/South Coast Metro area in March 2007.
Dentistry is an art as well as a science. With that in mind, Dr. Shireen has attended numerous continuing education courses in all aspects of General and Cosmetic Dentistry to keep up to date with all the ways her profession continues to evolve. The latest state of the art techniques and applications are utilized to make for a more pleasant experience.
